You can use commands in the Edit menu to cut and copy a graph object, place it on the Clipboard, then paste it into any graph window. You can also remove a graph from the active graph window without placing it on the Clipboard.
Graph objects you cut or copy are pasted into the center of the active graph window. When you paste graph objects into a graph window that uses a different color palette than the current Clipboard palette, a message asks if you want to keep the original palette or load the Clipboard palette.
• If you keep the original palette, the cut or copied graph’s colors are mapped to that palette.
• If you load the Clipboard palette, the contents of the active graph window are mapped to the new palette.
Note: You can update a cut or copied hot-linked graph while it’s on the Clipboard; the hot link is maintained at all times.
Cutting Graphs
Cut (Cmd-X) allows you to remove a graph object from the active graph window and place it on the Clipboard.
Note: Option-Cmd-X allows you to remove the graph object and place it on the Clipboard in CA-Cricket Draw III format.
Copying Graphs
Copy (Cmd-C) allows you to copy a graph object to the Clipboard.
Note: Option-Cmd-C allows you to place a copy of the graph object on the Clipboard in CA-Cricket Draw III format.
Pasting Graphs
Paste (Cmd-V) allows you to place a cut or copied graph object in the active graph window.
When you paste a hot-linked graph object into a graph window, it maintains its hot link to its source data and all graph component attributes.
Clearing Graphs
Clear allows you to remove a graph object from the active graph window without placing it on the Clipboard. You can also press the Delete key to clear a graph object.
